Well, looks like the January thaw is gonna keep up for some time... We are losing most of the snow. Think I will pull the sled into the garage, and do some PM this week. Wish I was riding lol, but this will give me a chance to make sure the PV's and carbs are all ready for when it decides to get cold again... Yup, we're done too. It's OK cause we put plastic backers on one sled over the summer and they are cracking. I'll pull it inside and replace with aluminum this week.
 
No snow here, what we got 2 weeks ago is just about gone and the river is slush. I heard it bad all the way to the up? One weekend and 200 mi on one sled might be it? I see its going to be 45 again by next week!!
 
At least there is a good Basketball game on tonight, and cable in the garage... Think me and my SRX will sit and watch it together... At least then we can still spend some quality time together lol... If not I have to sit in the house and listen to my wife!!!

yup flint MI melting too. got hers ready! & my sons sled is done! mine is still down with the tack gage but the barret jackson auto starts TUE. untill then let the snow fly PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! :letitsnow
 
here comes the white stuff!!!

now I hear we are supposed to be getting up to 8 inches of snow here by the weekend.Was melting off recently and all snow is dirty now..so a new blanket of snow is welcome.Got sleds fueled up and ready to go and make up for lost time

We're getting snow right now. It's about time too, it hasn't really snowed in a month.
 
we see more green then white. took her out 3 nights ago up the side of the road. this is my second year with the SRX and the first year Ive done any PM to it since the last guy said it was good to go. Thanks to all the articles on here I've gone through everything. I don't ever remember it pulling anything like it is now.

I hope i get to really ride her at least once this year.

We have just enough snow to ride here, Lakes are good as well. I have ridden a few hundred miles and heading out on a 250 mile ride on Friday...its going to be "Old School", primarily ungroomed.

LOL!

I will definately know how I like the Boss high rise flat top seat after that!!!
 
Oh yeah, we talked to a county sheriff on Sunday and said they might have their first fatality of the season. Two guys left their buddy on the side of the road to die, lucky a passing car saw it all. They found the two guys a half mile away on trail drinking beers. When asked why they didn't call 911, they said they didn't want to get into trouble. They both blew .32's. Just when you've thought you herd it all.
 
we still have snow. about 1 foot base. but we need some fresh stuff. it stayed below freezing today for the first time in like 5 days.
