hey guys after riding my 02 srx and riding my buddies sleds ive decided to look for a way to raise my seat. So im wondering do viper seats make a big difference on srx's, do they bolt right on and does anyone know what the height difference? thanks

it will not bolt right on. you will need to replace the gas tank as well.

My brother put a Viper seat on his 01 srx. It will bolt right on. You just have the 2 screws showing on the gas tank where the srx has a elastic band. My brother just took those off. He did get a cheap Viper tank. But he has so far been riding without it.

i guess i should have made that more clear,like mentioned above it fits the tunnel but it will not fit correctly at the tank .

someone on here built an aluminum box to raise his SRX seat. I had an upholstery shop make a "pillow" that wraps around the original seat. So far, I like it. CHeck it out here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=132028&id=719315215&l=07edb6a3c6à
