You should be safe to ride but it may not perform well...calibration could now be WAY out.

pink spring is RX-1 spring, been running one for some time, just watch your rpm & you should be fine. It won't shift or feel like other spring but you can adjust as needed. If you don't like it you will be fine til you get spring that you want.

more problems

well guys i lied tonight i took it for a ride and it felt like my clutch was slipping! i dont know how this is possible! i do know that there is all kindsa belt dust inside the hood from when the broken spring was on but the belt appears to be good is that a possibliety?

I believe on the 1 and the 6 with the underline good news i just bought a new red spring from hauck the one that is supposed to be in with the helix they recommended running 2 and 9 hopefully this fixes my problem i hope that my belt isnt to thin now from it being messed up

I don't understand why they would not use a green spring wrapped with less twist? 2/9 is an alot of twist (110) .. I run a hauck 51/45 with a green at 70....

yep, hauck's red spring, gets indexed differently than oem springs.

I have a hauck green spring and is indexed the same as the stock Yamaha red that I replaced.. I ordered a Yamaha green from them but they sent a green hauck spring, (spring all green) said it was same as the Yamaha.... I'm not familiar with there red one...
