I will be picking the sled up on Saturday and let you know what the number is. I also mentioned I know of another one under 140. Maybe it's like my Super Mod Ski Doos, not sure... but have #11 (plus a couple more) yet never seen higher than 12, still can't swear haw many there are. I still need help with the exact dimensions of the radiator if someone is up the the challange. Thanks Ward

My SSR serial number was 103. This was the sled that was auctioned off at the Snowmobile hall of fame museum. Jeff wurl

Ride-N-Rice, Beautiful sled. I will have more info after Saturday. I have only seen pic's and know it is rough but mostly all there and runs. It will take a while to restore this one. Ahead of this is my 78 RXL.

NICE SLEDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was a Polaris dealer 14 years and always wanted an RXL but never came to be. Had a chance to trade this SSR in 1988 for a wicked-up 650 Indy I had taken in on trade, we did the deal and every year he would come back and ask if he could buy it back. I think you know the answer.
This is original and unrestored and if things work out I hope to have it on the ice Feb. 13th for the vintage LeMans race called The Jack in Clear Lake, Iowa cuz there having a vintage sled show also.
Have a super weekend!!!!!
