First off, let me say I have done several searches and viewed the tech pages as well. This is the second year I have owned my SRX 700 and it is stock w/o studs. I just put on a new Hacksaw at the beginning of the season. When I read about setting up the clutching, my head swims and I just can't seem to grasp the concepts. I understand the helix at a rudementary level. I am an aggressive trail rider who enjoys blasts up to 100+mph. I weigh in at 250lbs. I like the overall characteristics of my stock powerband, just want to improve upon that level without sacraficing much. Thanks in advance.

Without a question do the 8dn-20's loaded setup....from what I gather it is exactly what you are looking for..

Yupp 8dn-20 loaded with 4.5 grams in the tip and center hole W/W/W primary and find 54/44 helix and that should put that smile back on your face.

the 8Dn-20's are stock weights in your sled with a Y/W/Y primary and the straight 47 helix is also stock with a red secondary spring

So I will need to adjust the weighting in the tip and center holes on my stock weights as well as change the springs to all white and then change the helix to 54/44, correct? What about secondary spring?

even just stock RX-1 helix it'sa 51/43 OEM yamaha. Micro belmont makes great helix's also Dalton
