Hey there everyone, been a while for me, havent been on here alot lately, i kinda feel bad. i love this site. happy new year to all, and hope everyones winter is filled with lots of snow. well heres my dilema, had my first ride saturday, my sled is just not pulling like it should. when i pin it WOT from stop, the rpm's shoot to 7850-7900 rpm and thats it, seems like the sled is bogging. i am thinking i may have a clutching issue but i am not sure. my sled is a 2002 srx, that i have converted to a 136" with a 1.5" camoplast challenger track. can anyone lead me down the right road, i want my power back...

please help, any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Thats not helping things if clutching and gearing are stock yet?

power valves clean adjusted and working?, firing on all 3?

I'm assuming it was running fine last year with this set up? Check Daman's suggestions, then check your exhaust for "natural" obstructions. I was thinking reeds too, but I'm not sure your symptoms are right for that.

You did not mention that your carbs are spotless, fresh gas, valves are clean and adjusted. Is this a new setup or did it run great last year with this setup??...

if your carbs are clean and powervalves adjusted right you can try different gearing due the to the bigger track you put on, you might have to go lower on your gearing and switch your clutching around a little :letitsnow :letitsnow

THANKS GUYS, yeah no doubt there are a few things that i didn't mention. it was the same late last season so am quite certain its not power valves nor carb related. it seems like it is running out of gear. especially when i run hills there is a bigtime bog, i guess i shouldnt assume the power valves are in perfect running order. it seems like i can hear something different like someone mentioned to check for ecaust obstructions. now something else i didnt mention, i have a hauck growler canister on there as well its the race version.

all suggestions welcome.
