Took off down the road after I cleaned the carbs and 5 minutes later the light blinks 3 times so i shut it down. Its really dark so i limp back to the house after 5 or 6 stops. I park it facing up a hill and start looking for the leak. Theres coolant coming out the right heat exchanger in the back, but not sure if its coming all the way down from the belly pan. Should I have bled the coolant system after I cleaned carbs? The thing about the heat exchangers is that they all look great from the outside.
well it could be coming down from the front of the sled..however i had to put a new heat ex on this year...i checked it all over before putting on making sure nothen was damaged however after installing and ran coolant through..found a pin hole in it which wasn't very visible until coolant started comin out... just somethin to look for...

Can't see it being a heat exchanger if all you did was clean the carbs, but did you remember to plug the lines back in that run coolant to the carbs? A lot of people forget them.
There was a recent post on here that I can't seam to find about hoses rubbing under the hood on some of the SRX's with high mileage. I'll keep looking.

RX1JIM posted that topic that you're talking about.
it seems like it might be a leaking hose or something, sled only has 3900 miles

X2 check to make sure everything is hooked back up. Easy to do thats why i now double check post every carb clean. Made a checklist of sorts.

with that many miles maybe not a hose, but see if you can check it out.My SRX has a little over 5000 miles and when I pulled the motor out before xmas,2 hoses were actually being worn thru from rubbing. And that was in around the water pump area, large hose and small hose.I super blacktaped them and made sure they weren`t up against anything when I put motor back..but wear does happen.

like mentioned above if you pulled your carbs then i would recheck your hose behind the primary that goes into your carb. this is the hose that supplies your carbs. had that happen to mind. might even check the other end of the rack to make sure your hose at the other end is not the problem or might be your rad cap.
