ok, i've got an 02 viper, with slp triple pipes and carbon fibre reeds. ever since i bought it a few weeks back it has been giving me grief. one time it pulls like an animal out of the hole and then falls on it's face at 85mp/h feels like a bog. the next time it bogs at any thing past 1/4 throttle. i changed the cdi, cleaned the carbs, and adjusted the pv's with no improvement. also myfeul light, oil light, temp light, and engine light dont light up. help i'm gonna go insane. also been checking the main harness under the engine andhave only found 1` minor rub through

Check your stator for proper current
Might be your clutching is on the edge & it ain,t backshifting in the warm weather.

my headlights and handwarmers don't dim or lose power do you think it could still be astator problem? i'm gonna test it when i get to theshop tonite just to to be surekirk700 srx said:

Could you stator be loose? Maybe stator pick up loose? I had a bad bog issue, and it would run really weird, up until it quit one day, and wouldnt restart. Got down to the stator, and the pickup had fallen off.... just a though.

Hmmmm.... i would think you would get weaker spark, but while you are there I think you should check your stator to see if its not going bad.
i think your clutch doesnt work properly... what u got in there

all stock, slp says thats all you need to run

slp's instructions for clutching say... 8ek 13.9/13.9,y-w-y primary spring,47* helix, red secondary spring, 70* preload. thats pretty much stock isn't it

yeah they ask to run smaller rivits weird ..engine should make more hp than stock...
