his sled has a clutch kit and does'nt work as hard as the stock one his wife rides sounds like all vipers need more oil i will turn mine up my srx has 12500 miles on the crank it came with and it use's 1.5 qt per tank so a little rich might be better of course its clutched and spanked all the time

Ill put the socket in the tool box and I'll tie a wire tie through it and mark it for you.. it is right at 20mm which should be WHERE it supposed to be.. I am assuming the spec is 19-21mm and the socket is ground right in the center of the spec.. it'll be in the toolbox Mike!!!

make sure to monitor it. Every sled acts differently. Mine was at 21mm and i was running leaner than you. I am now at 19 and i am running around 60:1.

just remember running oil rich means your running fuel lean, fuel lean=burn downit use's 1.5 qt per tank so a little rich might be better of course its clutched and spanked all the time
Just so you guys know.. I readjusted to 21mm and it used the SAME AMOUNT of oil.. I am thinking the pump took a crap... I'll just PREMIX until next season and I will take it apart in September and find out what happened!

did you try running it with the cable gap 19mm? The shorter the gap the more oil you will use. I mentioned earlier that mine oil consumption was really low and it was at 21-22mm I changed it to 19mm and my oil use came up a ton from around 200:1 to 50:1. Luckily I had been dosing the gas tank with 500mm of premix at every fill up before i got the consumption tuned in. 19mm gap means more oil to motor than a 21mm gap. Sleds will vary from one to the next too.
I DID NOT try it at 19 but I WILL before I pull it apart (over the summer).. Like I said,, I will PREMIX for the rest of the season ( another two weeks or so) and leave it until September or October.. I have a RACECAR to worry about in a few weeks.. Thanks again...
