so where do the posts go after 1-2 days.. are they deleted...i can only goet online every few days so if i ask a question the posts are then gone...when i come back

At the bottom of each section you can change how many days, weeks ect that you can view. Change to what you want and read away.
Another way, is to click on your user name.(on the TY forum main page) This will take you to your profile, there is a link there, that will allow you to see all your posts or "Threads" you have started.
Another way to get to your profile is click "My Profile" tab under the "User CP" tool in the tool bar above.

you must have your setting wrong,there around a long time,classifieds get cleaned i think every 60 days but general forums stay.

'edit options'
scroll down to 'Thread Display Options' section
in this box 'Default Thread Age Cut Off-You may specify a time period from which to display threads. Threads older than the age you specify will not be shown.'
select an appropraite time from the drop down box.
Make sure you scroll down and click 'save changes' after.

i was looking for a page 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 ect. so the only ones i can see are like mentioned "veiw midwest posts"
