SRX cylinder price?

I don't know if this is the right forum to post or the wanted forum, but how much does a used SRX cylinder cost, 00+?
No more than 3500 miles since new or the last time it was replated.
Stock, no porting or anything.
 
I have two 2000 cylinders for sale, if you are interested. $150 each. They will be freshly deglazed when I ship them out.
 
Valin, that sounds good. I take it that you take paypal? And that you are willing to ship to Norway?
Excuse my ignorance, but what does "deglazed" mean in terms of cylinder condition?

Bluemonster, $1000? sure if there are 3 of them and they are hauck big bore.
 
Deglazing is simply roughing up the cylinder walls so that new piston rings will seat properly in the cylinder. Essentially, you are scratching the cylinder walls lightly to provide a rough surface for new piston rings to wear against, and seat properly.

I have no issues shipping to Norway.

Just got one from these guys, (a re-plated one) it comes totally re-done....looks brand new! $171.00.

I believe they have international affiliates as well....check the website.

Just bought a 2001 Cylinder in excellent condition for $ 200.00 seemed reasonable since it cost $ 290.00 + tax to get it re-done and would have took a couple weeks to get..

Bought it from a friend of mine...His last one... :-( and there's another guy I know but he's all out of cylinders also...

I believe ExpertXViper has a set of cylinders forsale unless he already sold them...He never listed what year they came off of thou..wouldn't hurt to ask..I believe the price was very reasonable

They should only be $ 450.00 cdn funds + tax from dealer for 3 Pistons/Rings It adds up pretty quick eh..
What happened to your cylinders, Were they the trail ported ones ???

I (((HAD)))(Been Sold For A While Now) a set of 98SRX700 Cylinders listed for $75ea a while back and I did have the year listed cause 98-99 have diff porting specs than a 00+ cylinder. Most of the time cylinder run $150+ pending if it comes with piston, head, rings, etc. I had mine listed so cheap cause I had no use for them and I wanted them gone and out of my way.

Yeah if I would have seen those earlier I would have bought them for spares and in the hope I would never have to use them...lol
 
sorry made a mistake... I got quoted from rich 125 per piston and 20 per set of rings...

so grand total of 435 for OEM before taxes and shipping...

Now another catch for me is... Im going to ship the pistons to mrviper to have a mod done to them for my port and polish... I dont know exactly what is done to them.. but bendersrx recomended I send them to get it done... so it might be cheaper in the long run for me to buy from the states and ship them to don them don ships them to me...Alot of businesses can offer free shipping over a certain price... so ill shop around and see what I can come up with...

No my cylinders where stock... just Im not so sure about 2 of them if they are going to check out clear... for some reason i was getting some scuffing on all 3...but the middle and exhaust side cylinder had a good notch in them...
 
wow thanks staggs! thats a good price! almost 15$ cheaper per piston... Is that "your price" you can get it at? or any one?

also... for the rings... the 2 piston ring set... is that 18.66 for 2 sets of piston rings?
