Viper temp light

vipers dont come stock with the rear heat exchanger do they.....my 02 has one on it just bought and that thing is completly stock lol

check the therm. if it's not opening all the way it does't close off bypass & coolant only goes though eng. not heat exchangers . I have an 02 & i don't have rear heat exchanger been just fine . Temp light was coming on this year checked therm. replaced it running good . I may put one in if i keep it good luck with it :letitsnow

what is the engine water temp when the temp light comes on on vipers?

I have a digital temp gauge on my '02 Viper, and the light will come on steady, according to my memory, @ I believe 195 degrees, and it will start to blink at 205 degrees. It will be blinking if I let it sit for a moment, after turning it off, and it was warm, and upon re-starting it, at first the temperature will read high, until the coolant circulates, then at 205 it will stop blinking and become steadily lit. Again, I believe it is at 195 when it goes out.
