Got the heads 0ff the SRX..take a look

The weird thing is my other buddys littlt brother has an mxz600 sAme year
and he just went over the 16000km mark but goes on alot
of trips. I think Jordan got screwd over when he bought his.

go figure..but it may all boil down to maintenace.Fogging for summer, cleaning carbs, good gas used..proper oil ratio and just a regular maintenance kept up on the sled and always listening for weird noises and sounds, vibrations and looking for missing bolts that may have loosened or broke.Maybe some guys are just lucky and have a horseshoe up their azz!!! :rulez:

Proper warmup allways for good engine life,Even the old depedable phazors would siezeup if you fired them up and rode like you didnt care.

yes and proper warm up is essential..I agree there.I drove with a bunch of doo boys one night, coming out of bar along the trail....they started them up and pinned it.I would let mine warm up a bit and catch up with them.I only had the little 600 that time vs their 800's and 1000 kaboom sleds..The lead guy ended up blowing his belt at full pin. That was funny because they had trouble get belt pieces out at 1 am in the morning..I just hung back and had a smoke...

At a bar till 1 am.... not too many beers I hope Blue. My friend always used to do that, fire it up then pin it. Last weekend I was riding with my friend who has a Cat, and we were on the lake, crossed a ice road, and his right ski fell off!!! He did not crash, but talk about loosing nuts and bolts! I told him I will have to carry a trailer of parts when I ride with him.
I am going to Falcon - Northwest angle then to my cottage on L.O.W. this weekend, let me know if you want to go for a ride
