Snoscoot

Buddy just picked up a snoscoot, trying to it get to run. What I've done so far is clean carb/all new gas lines/ new coil/new c.d.i/ it will run for about 2 minintes then when you try and rev it up it stalls and wont start again. Tried bypassing carb lead switch still would not run. Lots of spark and fuel. Never worked on one of these before. Is this a commen problem. any suggestions to get thing going for the kids for christmas would be great.

TORS? If it has it try bypassing it. (disconnect and plug wires into itself)

Sound like it might be a carb problem (flooding?), ...check for a plugged needle seat and needle free movement. Also replace the plug and avoid using any fuel primer.

pull the belt of and see if it runs then. If it does your clutch is probably stuck putting a load on the engine (like taking off in 3rd gear). Fix or repair as required.
