I would not use Goo Gone. I used it on the hood of my Exciter and it ate away at the paint in areas. I should have known, every time I would apply and wipe, the red paint residue was on the rag. NEVER use it on snowmobile windshields to take stickers or anything off. Goo Gone eats away at the plastic and ruins the windshield. The best and safest thing to use is WD-40. Just spray it on, let it sit for 3 minutes and wipe off.....repeat until the glue is gone. You might have to rub the area pretty hard with a rag and the WD-40 several times, but it will work. When done, wipe your hood with soapy water and rinse.

Go down to your local bodyshop supply store or a bodyshop. Ask for an adhesive remover puck. It looks like a hockey puck with an adapter that fits into a drill. Turn the drill on and have some fun. This will remove the most stubborn adhesive.

If you get tired of trying the different liquids, you can always use a disc grinder with 50 grit paper or a sand blaster
