H arm
The H arm and W arm are the same Centre to centre distance but with the 121 railed shorty W arm suspension the front lower shock brkt and the L shaped brackets mounted on the rails the W arm is attached to are also different compared to a 141 H arm suspension. You can use the W arm in place of an H arm but not VISA VERSA. If you use W arm in a 141 skid you need to remove the 2 front wheels one on each side and change limiter straps The H arm will not work in a W arm suspension.
Ikeever in your application MMax mount points are what you need, I don.t have the measurement but some one can get them . 141 railed front mount hole is I believe 7" back from the stock mount point of your SXr. Also using the MMax drop plates you have to shorten your rear cross shaft. It's really simple just get the measurements back and from top of tunnel and measure and remeasure till your happy and drill. Reinforce your front Mount Hole inside as well as outside or it will crack

I went back 3" and went through the steering bracket with the front bolts.

136
The 136 are W arm rails for 97-98 MMaxs including the MSRX in 98. They have the poor approach angle and are longer 121s
The 141 rails are for 00 and up MMaxes with better approach angle and totally different mounting points

So.....
After a year of having this thing going I'm thrilled with how easy having the 156 made boondocking. That said, I F'd up somewhere and my track gets tighter when the suspension compresses, which resulted in a broken driveshaft eventually.

I want to put an Edge 136 into a 2005 RX1 121. How hard is it?
I ended up setting the skid forward back to where it was originally and extended my extensions, the track still tightens a lot with suspension compression so I'm just running the track loose. After running both setups I like the stock location better, it turns better in the soft stuff and transfers a lot better. As far as "climbing on top of the snow" there might be a slight improvement with the set back skid, but IMO it wasn't worth it.
