Yep, that pretty much hits the nail on the head.
By 04, many performance sled buyers that bought yamaha's were on 4 strokes.

forgot, the viper s had the deep keel skis like the rx1 had. made a noticeable difference for sure, I swapped mine out for some but eventually went to simmons instead
