I have a 97 SX Vmax and a 03 RX1. Does anyone know if the they both require the same bearing in the boogie wheels? Just looking, they look the same. Next question, does anyone know the part number or size of the bearings? I want to replace just the bearing not the whole assembly.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The Yamaha bogie wheels use two different bearing nos. one bearing is a 6004 and the other is a 6205. These are fairly common bearings that you should be able to get at a decent automotive parts store. Some of the newer Yamaha wheels have the plastic wheel molder around the bearing so you cannot replace or service just the bearing. You can find the bearing part no on the black rubber seal. The part no. may read 6205 2RS or 6004 2RS. The 2RS indicates that the bearing has a rubber seal on both sides of the bearing.
