bender or hauck for SXR 700?

which pipes should you have if you want good bottom acceleration and not as high top speed?
 
your question was which pipes and I replied the Benders...with some results of the benders. What else do you want to know
 
My sx with bender pipes pulls like a animal. Clutching and jetting specs I got from them were totally wrong and got me thoroughly aggravated though.

was their jetting too lean or too rich? what was wrong w/clutch setup from them?

Jetting was way to rich. The clutch setup they told me to run is a 51/43 helix with a green spring at 70 and the primary left untouched :o|
 
Ran em both
Benders for low & mid
Older Hauck(CPR made) for screaming top end.
 
I have not tried the Hauck pipes but we have had the Bender's on our 600 + 700 SXs since 1999.[ stock, ported, and for a while an 800 BB]
Our Bender tripple pipes have 1000s + 1000s of miles drag raciing, trail riding, + radar runs + they have never needed repairs, eccept painting.
I don't think you can buy a higher quality pipe for these SXs.
We were very successful in raciing with these pipes and I highly recommend them.

As far as putting triple pipes on my 2000 sx-r 700 goes , how well would it stack up against a 2006 polaris 440 racepro or whatever they are called. My buddy claims he will destroy me with his 440 polaris pipes or no pipes straight line drag race!
 
That 440 will give you a handfull in 660' After that they are done but they are wicked in a short race. We see em all the time running big sanctioned raced here & putting a hurt on bigger sleds in a short run.
 
tell me about I have a buddy who had a AC sno-pro 440 and it would eat 600's all day in 660' and under
 
Running my 81 SRX, in Improved stock 660' snow drags, I only had problems with one sled. A previous Arctic Cat 440 factory team snow cross sled[Earle Rymer's] that had been further lightened up.
My 81 SRX never had a problem with any other Sno Cross 440's, Ski Doos, or Polaris's or other Cats. In equal traction my 440 SRX could not hang with our Improved 600SX, but did beat it a couple times in 660 if the SX spun too much. Thats what makes racing interesting...it never a sure thing!'

exactly what i was going to say. if you guys are on snow, and its any bit loose, he'll take you for sure, w/that 1-1/2"+ lug heighted track. same thing w/the rev 440's.....damn quick from 0-70mph. those snocross 440's, go from 0-660ft like that. then they're out of steam like you said. buddies 440 rev tops out at like 80mph. my uncle claims his hits 92mph?? i'm going to say that your buddy w/his 440 polaris, will take you in 660ft, even if you got the pipes. if you don't have the pipes, proper clutching, etc, i will gaurantee that you'll be seeing his tailight in 660ft. tell him you'll race 1000ft + and then he'll see your tailight....LOL.

Good point about the Snow Xsrs tracks.

Any time I banged heads with these sleds I was using a minimum of 1 1/4" and up to 1.6" tracks...but again they were never an issue.
