looking for some help on setting the timing on my 77 SRX. What RPMs should you set timing? Any idea of stock specs or a good starting point would be?. All stock motor. Thanks in advance for your help
not sure but dont you just use a dial indicator on the PTO cylinder to find TDC and set it from there????? I dont think you set it with the engine running....

There also was someone from out your way that had a srx 1976 340 with 440 motor and we raced in clayton sometimes.

THAT SLED WAS WITH MINE. 76 SRX 340/ 440 MOTOR AND MY 79 SRX. I DID HAVE MY 77 UP AT CLAYTON ALSO. 3:16 (yammie tony)
