It should be reasonably close to the change I saw even though we went about it different ways. My drop from a 21/39 gear to a 19/39 represents roughly a 10% change in the drive ratio. You went from a 9 tooth driver to an 8, just a little more than 10%. I doubt you'll have to drop any more.

Finally got to try this sled out on actual snow! Excellent upgrade. This little sled is so much more fun to ride, and very peppy. My wife says to ride my own and stay off it. Haha. Love my 4 stroker but I have always liked this little sled, and now it's much more fun.
Looks like RPM's max out about 7,800-7,900. Sound about right?
