roller secd shift faster and back shift quicker of coarse they are better no questions asked and is the best for deep snow riding, thats my choice for clutches.
They drop up to 30% in shift out resistance due to less friction. This means that you increase secondary spring load up to 30% to match current shift out. This increased spring pressure comes into play with greatly increased backshifting / downshifting where as the friction does not. Thus the speed and degree of backshifting is very noticeable. As mentioned above it is a very good thing off-trail and coming out of the corners. The clutches shift back down that much better and faster.

steeper angles on a roller, than what your sled handles on a button setup, will = overshifting.

I wasn't for sure on that reply. i said that because most a cat's with rollers use around 53 - 55 degree helix's.

i believe the cat helix ramps are on a different radius then the yamaha helixs, which changes the amount of side force into the belt. i believe that's why the cat helixs have larger angles.....cus of different helix radius.
