2011's released

WOW cost of the apex is alot higher than last years price. Is that for the addition of the EPS. I wouldl be interested in the XTX apex or XTX nytro but the cost is scary need to find a good used one.

Sad Sad day. Nothing exciting at all!!..Only 4 of 17 total sleds is under $10K WTF

I am all in favor of improvements, but the new 2011 top of the line apex (not XTX) is like 2 grand higher than the apex GT from 2010. It seems to me that it has raised more than it should, despite the improvements.

I will still demo one to see how I really feel about it though.

Even the nytros that have nothing from what I can tell in difference from the 2010 besides a better handwarmer setup cost 300 dollars more than last year. I think that is a bit out of line as well.

The motor on the new apex is a revamped old apex motor, still 5 valves, but revised enough to make a difference. Is the crank the same as 2010?

Yawnnnnnnnnnnnn..........
Nothing new for the Mountain segment.
no stock turbo,,,,,,,,, no nothing..........
Maybe another brand can steal Yamaha blue paint.

i'll take the apex 144". can the rear suspension and put in a FAST m-10, ditch the front shocks and put on FAST air shocks. live happily ever after. as soon as i pay off my truck!

I have heard rumors about the 2012 apex:

Windshield wiper, couch, cup holders and a mini-hifi sound system and heated seat. Ya and a refrigerator.

your funny..best is to stick to the old iron.Stock up on spare parts and be done with it.As long as you can do 100mph who cares, and they are lighter to.I am now looking for some older iron..not even into the new stuff.V-max4..I spotted one and almost gonna buy it and love to find the older SRX's like 78 to 80 years.Nice and light and FAST yet.

after all this, they come out with a ski that isn't as agressive as a standard skidoo flexi ski from the early part of this decade. I really think yamaha doesn't get it. They also finally added trailing spindle design to their sleds, polaris has done this for over 15 years, maybe more. They still make a good product but sometimes I wonder WTF was you thinking.

X2!!!!!!

yamaha you just need to lower the price of your sleds theres no way in hell i will buy a brand new 15,000 sled when i can buy a a brand new ski-poo for 8-10,000 but i would would never jump ship though

easy to see why BRP are selling more sleds now to and they now have the etec 1200 yet......yeo prices are way out to lunch now..Remember winters aren't like they used to be either. Why would I spend $16,000 on a new sled that sits more then being used..not to mention the insurance on such a beast to boot..... :o|

I'll just keep running my Viper and SRX... wait another 5 yrs till the nytro xtx falls into my price range and buy a used one... screw paying that much for a new sled from a company who's "game changer" is better heated grips and replaceable bearings...

and I thought I paid to much for my $18,000 truck. HOLY CRAP $15,000 for a sled. Kiss my not paying butt. No wonder none of the dealers here stock Yami sleds anymore. :o|
