Hey everyone, I just picked up a nice 1997 Yamaha SX 700 tripple for $950. I am very happy with the switch, and am excited to get the sled out for many seasons to come. It runs excellent, is reliable, looks great, powerful, and is a great deal in my eyes. I bought it with only one known problem, and was just wondering what everyone thought about it. When you PIN the throttle and the track hooks up (track is not loose), a profound vibration and noise can be heard and felt beneath you, the previous owner did tighten the drive chain, which helped for a little bit. I belive that it is in the chain case. Possibly drive chain or sprokets worn??? Is this the only thing that could cause this? If that is the case, how easy is it to replace these on my own? What is the best way for me to repair it myself? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
TJ
