I want to replace my rear wheels on my '02 Viper w/ the 79 SRX 7.5" wheels, as I go thru Hyfax pretty quickly. I already replaced the front wheels w/ the Polaris 5.35 wheels. What exactly needs to be done to replace these wheels? I checked the posts, and all that I found is that there is mention that a spacer needs to be cut. But I did not see by how much, or which spacer. Other than that are they any other mods to make them fit? I picked up three wheels w/o bearings, does anyone know what size bearing would fit and fit the Viper axle? Thanks in advance

They take 6204 bearings, stock viper is 6004 and is alitter thinner, thats why you have to cut the spacers, for the difference.
If your interested I have a brand new 7.5" black wheel with bearing for $15shipped. You could go 4 wheels in the back just cut the spacer for it.

Thanks for the info. And as far as the wheel you have, I plan on doing this, this week, and a little too eager to wait for shipping at this time. Typical male, want it today!
Thanks again!

I did this to my viper last fall. Check your wheels to make sure they are not out of round. Two of mine were WAY out. More than 1/8th inch. Back tension nuts barely make it into the nylok but seem to stay put just fine.
Thanks for the advice. I just picked up three new ones from "sledparts.com" for $17.99 ea. I thought that was a good price. Interesting web site, as I thought the parts were priced fairly and shipped that day UPS, got it in three days.
