Hi!
Today I fitted the reed valves and the inlet boots on my Viper (I`m rebuilding the motor, center cylinder burned down).
I ordered stock yamaha gaskets (one on each side of the reed valve) and I discovered that the new gaskets are made out of metal and the old ones were made out of normal "gasket paper".
This might be stupid but I kind of have more "faith" in the old paper gaskets, am I being paranoid?
I have never used inlet gaskets made out of metal.. .
Anyone have experience on this?
