Jerry's Pub, Wamplers Lake Michigan

Ad in the local paper was kind of vague as to actually what it is. I don't have the ad in front of me now but as I recall it said they were having a "winter fest". Mentioned , snowmobiles, skating, bonfire, cheap dogs and beer. As I recall there was no mention of any type of organized compitition. Sounded like they just wanted to have a party...which is cool with me.

Are you going? Anyone else? I met the owner (BJ) on a trip 2yrs ago and haven't seen him since. Are there anytimes/rides listed?
 
I just heard lake Dianne is having there tip up as well. Lake Dianne is off of Terratorial just south of M49... kinda inbetween Reading and the state line? Any other lakes in the area having tip up/festivals? I will be in Reading for the weekend b/c there is prob about 10-12" of untouched snow on my lake (Long, connected to Carpenter and Hemlock).
 
I used to ride up their ALOT....Start at Whomplers and ride to the old ski hill's....Under the brige over to the lake in Hays state park....And stop in Jerry's for a little lunch and a cold one....It's really a good time DNR is out alot more than I like to see,but I've never had a problem...If lake ERIE wasn't frozen I'd be going up their...Alos we are having a POKER RUN htis weekend starting at the MAYFLY inn on summit st ....Lots of people out and we have about a dozen bars you can hit not to mention the Island's located in the Maumee Bay... Plenty of ICE,Snow and fun to be had...Let me know if anyone's coming in like to hook up and ride....
 
What day/time is the run? And where does it start from? I would def be intersted in that. We rode out to Turtle island last year and all round the islands/Ottawa River.
 
It start's at the Mayfly next to cullen park on summit st at noon ....It's not at Ottawa River they had it 2 weeks ago when their was no snow....Still a great party though...Same bars and yacht clubs as ;last just starting at a different place... We rode to Turtle last year too...2nd time I ever got to do that pretty cool the first time I carved my new born baby's inatials in one of the bricks on the old Light house...Wher in to;ledo do you live??? I live in the point... I have a funeral to go to tommrow so I won't be out till about 2 or so But if you want to meet for a beer I'd be into that...Mabey I'll see you tommrow.have fun and be safe...

The inlaws live on Iron lake. I was planning on going over there and goofy off tomorrow. Sounds like I'll wait for Sunday I don't have trail permit.
