99 SRX or 02 SRX?

Hey Guys, here is the deal I dont have a ton of money but could swing either deal, should I buy a 99 SRX for 1300 or go with the 02 SRX for 2400. which is the better deal. both are in good condition.

I would definatly get the 02, it has digital IGN and a dual headlight. Also it has DCS so motor is almost bullet proof.

Depends on if the 02 benefits are worth the extra $1100 to you. $1300 is pretty cheap for a 99. The 02 is faster, more reliable, newer, has a MUCH better headlight, and is a more sought after model, so if you have the means to afford it, I'd say do it. Hmmm, now the devil on my other shoulder says snap that 99 up for that cheap....

Thats a good point about the crank. I am leaning towards the 02

There's nothing wrong with a good running 98-99 SRX. The 00-02's were/are just better sleds. Newer, more advanced technology, lighter and more power, and just more reliable over all...

That would certainly solve your dilemma. Pull some cash out of the 401k, invest in some blue instead!!!!

Might be fun to know that here in Sweden, I payed about 3100$ in SEK. And that was for a modded -99 that had run about 3800 miles. Price levels are a bit different here I suppose

The double element head light is much brighter, but I always liked how the single looked from the front, FAT and MEAN! but you said you could swing it so I'd buy
the 02. sounds like a good deal.
