Any thoughts on these lift kits ? Just bought a 2002 SX600R and it seems like the front end is really low to the ground. I just had the front shocks serviced and the preload sag is only ~.5"

Not, sure why your sled set's low, but on mine the sleds sits the same height as the Viper, Are your radious rods flat and level, or have a angle down toward spindle? The sled should have a slight angle. If you add bracketry to lower the shock mount, this will add more ski pressure and less skid pressure on the front. You will then need to lower your skid mounting to have proper geometry for suspension. Al

The R. rods are now straight thanks to a press..... It may not be too low, I am comparing the belly pan clearance to other sleds in the garage. Reading the description in the add sounds like you would not have to lower the skid to keep the proper suspension geometry? I'll measure the clearance and take some pictures tonight.

If your SXR or SXViper sits low and you want it to sit higher in the rear. here is how you can adjust it to sit higher.
Loosen the rear axle nut, loosen the track adjust adjustment bolts under the rear snoflap through the square holes in the track. after loosening the track as loose as you can get it.
Now your ready to adjust the limiter straps in front of the rear suspenion that connects to the w-arm. the straps have 3 adjustment holes, you want to make these straps as long as you can,by adjusting it to the 3rd hole. and the straps are connected to adjustment bolts that thread through a square nut on the w-arm,thread this bolt into that square nut about 5 threads, this will even help the straps even be more longer, thus this gets the front shock to a more 45 degree angle. and this will make your SXR or SXViper sit much higher and look much better. and it will give you a more true 11.5 of travel. and your rear suspenion will actually work. if you look at (photo) of front shock with yellow spring. Also, this adjustment does work on the Vmaxsx and SRX but you need to buy longer straps and rear shocks.
We designed this lift kit to match the rear suspenion strap adjustment. this is the only way we could come up with to raise the front of the SXR and SXViper. only other choice is to buy longer shocks, or have your shocks shafts lenghten.
No need to go buy M-10 or AD. Bovin rear suspenion you riders with SXR and SXVipers already have 11.5 inches of travel you just need to adjust the straps to max. lenght. and if you measure after you make your adjustment. from the top idler wheel axle down to the rubber stop thats riveted to the rail should measure from axle to rubber stop 11.5 inches or close to it. this little bit of work will make big difference. you'll see and feel the difference.
