DAMN SRX just won't run as good as last year

WHY?? Would I be missed on here..That is the reason the coming of Bluemonster2 was born..to take over in case I crash and burn....the memory lives..lolllllll ;)!

Awesome, thanks for keeping us all up to date. Posting the final outcome/result is key for the rest of us. But i know its hard, once you get it fixed you wanna go ride it and forget all about it!
 
Once you get it dialed in, let me know how you like the 50 pilots. Im curious about MPG, DCS light, cold starting, plug fouling, etc, etc...

well took the SRX out for a boot,yep it is singing again.That snap is back also.To bad we had to get that extra 5 inches of snow last weekend :o|
because I have no hard packed area to try a full run.Tried in my favorite spot to try and stay on some tracks,but the powder snow just slowed me down to much.Really hard to launch also in this stuff,but when I did I was launching at 8500,drops down to about 82-8300 once track bites and wot was 8600.Only got it up to 97 today and the motor was fully pinned and hummimg.. Don't know if the 51/43 set up is that great,over revs on top to much.

belt still squeals at idle slightly,gonna have to find a little thinner washers I guess.Primary runs cool to the touch after high speed runs.2ndary is a little warm...could be slight belt slippage going on there,not hot as in to burn your fingers hot.5 sec rule.I really want it to be at 8400 and climb slowly.May have to put that 47 helix back on again :o| :o| more work...lol
I love how my gas gauge drops fast when I do these wot runs...$$$ #$%&*

When it was running bad did you check the plugs? I had a cable break and the piston slowly (at 100 mph) shaved the valve down 3/8". The plug showed aluminum but it still started well and ran good through midrange.
 
that doesn't sound good.My plugs are perfect color,piston wash is good.Valve should not of been able to go into the piston.There are like stops before it goes that far.That is a weird one for sure.
 
gone back to a stock setup,51/43 over revs and the conditions are3 to 5 inches of powder and snowing again a bit to night.So stock clutching this time and will see how the rpm's show up.
 
Do not use a 51/43 on a srx with 8dn-20 weights. Been saying this for like 3 years!!!
Why don,t you guys frikken listen!!!!
