Can someone tell me how to identify if my machine has the Ohlins rear shocks on it? Do they have a label or decal on them? Is there a digit on the vin that will confirm? Thanks, Kevin.

Ohlins usually have a gold tinted shock body, usually gold springs. And if they are, they would have a sticker saying OHLINS in blue.... every shock I have seen has always been labeled, whether its KYB, ohlins, fox, rydefx, walker evans etc....

I will pull them off and see what they have on them...
Its pretty easy to tell, all you have to do is look. The rear ohlins is a piggy back type and the center is not. They both have yellow springs and gold bodies. I think the rear skid KYB's have black springs.

Does it make sense that my front shocks (skis) are piggy back style Ohlins but neither of my rear's (skid) are piggy backs? I am the second owner of the sled and i highly doubt the first owner replaced either rears for standard style KYB's. What was supposed to come when you got the Ohlins edition from factory?Netefrog said:Its pretty easy to tell, all you have to do is look. The rear ohlins is a piggy back type and the center is not. yes it does, Factory Canadian edition SRX's had piggy back Ohlins on the front only and KYB's in the back.
