Can i remove the powervalve with the broken cable and run okay??

I am just saying the expiernce i had last year riding about 80 miles from home with friends when the power valve cable let go on the clutch side and my sled ran at 50% but i was riding at higher altitude but if yous is working fine with one less power valve ride it like you stoll it.
