I bought a used clutch off some one here last year after season was over. It says 96 600 on it. I put it on and never tried it. This year I tried to load the sled on the trailer and it is slipping the belt. I pulled clutch and cleaned it a polished the center shaft and both halves work free. The spring is black with blue pink blue or b p b. I searched and could not come up with these colors. Is this to high?

The one I took out of the original is black with green then pink and I cant see the third color

Ok, The farther I go the more confused I get. Weights are 8AB 01 on replacement clutch with lighter rivet on inside. Old weights are 8CA 01 and have 2 gold heavier rivets on it. Sled seemed to run fine with old set up. Should I just used the weights and springs off old one?

For what it is worth. I took the weights and springs out of the old clutch and swapped them in. I seems to work great. I just ran my road ditch and she is a wheelstander (skistander?). Will try it on the trails in 10 days.

I missed your post but i was going to say yes use your original clutch parts, what rpms are you seeing, engagement WOT???
