update. I had a broken cable on #3. Looks like it got worn from the powervalve coming through the piece it is seated in (thin piece with the slot in it).

YA*MA*A*HEAD repairs the power valves better then new, good price, fast turn around.

Yes he does a great jobs on the valves, recieved mine and he did a great job ;)!

So going from 2000 jetting to 2001 jetting will increase performance? and how safe is 2000 jetting to weather wise how cold is to cold for the jetting in a 2000 SRX 700

The 2001 "stock" jetting was richer then any other year of SRXs "stock" jetting so it will not normally improve performance but it will run a little richer to help keep the 2002s SRX's DCS from triggering and be a little safer on cold days, and questionable fuel, then your stock 2000 jetting was.

You can check "TY Tech" to see what the 2001 jetting is and what every other year SRX jetting was.

Mine came from the factory with 150, 148.8 mains and 40 pilots but the book says 147.5, 146.3 and 42.5 pilots. I've been running the latter for 5 seasons. I've kept it to the bar for miles on end on -25 days without issues. Altitude here is about 900 ft

In the jetting chart the pilot size rises while the mains go down. Why is that?

the 147.5 pto and 146.3 center/mag mains w/42.5 pilots, is the specs for '00 srx.

My manual is for the 01 and that's what it identifies as spec but I bought it new jetted otherwise. Maybe that page of the manual wasn't updated...

your '01 is jetted correct, w/150 pto and 148.8 in center/mag, w/40 pilots. all srx 700's ran the same needles at position 3.0 (clip in the middle groove and both plastic shims underneath).

how much can I go down on jetting for a stock 700 for racing and what temp mostly 660 snow and 600 ice
