The clutch weights, springs, and rollers are all stock but it shifts out at 9400 way to high, does anyone know what the secondary is suppose to be wound at and would that really affect the rpm's. sled is totally stock just studded thanks for any replies

Your Venom is a 600 right? On the TY home page you can find the stock specifications under the tech section. I highly doubt that your secondary is giving you that over rev. You should be pulling 8500 RPM. What RPM does it hit out of the hole? Most likely you will have to add weight to the flyweights. I have an 04 600 Venture mod which is basically the same. With a few small mods you can make that little 600 a monster. You can also do a search on 600 clutching the SX & SXR have the same drive train from 99 onward.

How many miles, how old is the belt. Are clutches clean. What is engagement?
3.6 gram inner & outer rivet. let er rip.
thanks for the replies guys, the sled only has 900 miles on it, so i think the spring is fine, going to clean the clutches real good and if that doesnt work going to throw some more weight at it, Turk what mm is 3.6 grams, i have stock rivets but dont have a scale to weigh them i just know the different lengths, i have 13.9 and 13.6mm they are steel, do i need bigger?
toss 13.9 inner & 13.6 outer & it will be close.
