Hey guys I came up to ride my sled all is well going down the trail I go to mash into it and get a big ole no way! If the sled is around 6k and I go wot it starts cutting out and the tach goes crazy bouncing from 5-9k. It runs fine untill it warms up and then it starts acting up and getting worst. I pulled the harness already and its fine. Im leaning towards stator but dont have a multimeter up here just looking for some insight from you fellas.

If power is cutting but not the electrical power it could be your reeds.

But the sled runs perfect when its cold or a few miles in but when it gets warmed up fully it starts doing it.

Harness to CDI above left footwell. Bet you are arcing on sheet metal. Repair/splice and cover in convoluted tubing. Steering post area as well.

If it was a rub thru or short you would think it would do it when i first left the house. It takes a few miles before itll do it. Anyone want an srx i want an XP lol

Wont do if stored in heated garage. My sled was in heated garage and would start and run fine til out in the elements. This kind of situation is very hard to diagnose b/c you need to be in the elements and/or looking for something specific. Check wire under seat too. It gets wet under there.
