Hey guys, I just got this picture sent to me through a phone so I am sorry for the poor quality. I designed this airfilter a long time ago for the SRX but we finally put it together. Testing has not been done with it yet but I will keep everyone updated on the results. This will obviously fit any triple Yamaha. Here is a tease picture. Let me know what you think!

Looks great! But, wouldn't it be better to get rid of that filter and just put some mesh over it instead? Wouldn't you get more air and less snow through then?
How much does it weigh?
And how much does the stockfilter weigh?

And how much does the stockfilter weigh?

Just putting mesh over it would not block as much snow as this K & N filter does. Plus, with the K & N filter design, there is more surface area to grab air from. I have not been back home to measure the weight differences but when I had all the parts off both, the design on it now was about 0.5 pounds heavier than stock. I will have to get back to you with a final answer though. Stock filter with everything is around 4 pounds.

That is what our testing is going to consist of. We are going to start off by jetting way up and see how the wash and plugs look. If it is making more power, we will have to jet up. We are hoping we have to jet up.
