noticed the weirdest thing riding the other day. stopped to take a leak, turned around and noticed that the snow under neath where my exhaust comes out is yellow on the ground. WTF i thought. smelled like gas. sled ran flawless all day and now this. nothing changed even after i noticed this. got home and searched on TY but no answers. so my question is, why the yellow snow and gas smell, sled ran great ? checked the exhaust,piston wash,pilots ,float adj, reeds,plugs ,oil cable. still no answer. got me stumped on this one.

Sounds like coolant, it came out of your overflow vent tube, it is normal when stopping after a run and temperature changes.
Check your coolant reservoir level.
as far as the gas smell goes, could have been exhaust fumes ?
My guess anyway.

even though i used green antifreeze that thought did ocure me, checked the coolant level and it was ok. thought head gasket at first but that would be white smoke. never thought of the overflow though. yellow though that is what has got me

Maybe one of your buddies took a leak on the side of your sled while you had your back turned taking a leak, did you just beat someone and then stopped?

I would start it up in the garage and look to see if it is gas or antifreeze

Took her out for a ride last night, started her up in the garage and checked the exhaust. nothing there but fumes. went for a ride, no problems. like i stated in the beginning.WEIRD THING !!!

Just a thought,maybe you spilled some of that Coors light on the running board,thats why you stopped for a leak?
