SRX Elkholm Mtn. Master Cooling system bleed

Getting an overheated SRX Mountain conversion running and can't find the bleed valve on the Elkholm Mountain Master tunnel. Heat exchanger in the rear of the tunnel but no bleeder screw that I can see. Other than that just use the bleeder on the coolant rail above the heads, right? Even with the rail bleeder closed there is a little coolant seepage from the plastic On/Off switch on the end of the rail. is this cause for concern? It got pretty hot...

Does it have the stock rear cooler on it?? if so the bleeder is there you'll need to look for it closer.

depending on the year of your ekholm tunnel, there are no drain provisions on the exchangers. yours has the exchangers built in to the edge of the running boards correct? then it should go through the rear exchanger and cycle back to the front exchanger through the motor. the way ekholm used to bleed the system was by loosening the rear most hose clamp on the hose connecting the footboards to the crossover tube/ rear exhanger and inserting a "pick" to allow air to escape until the coolant come out, with the rear end lifted. hope that made sense.

I always bleed my Ekholme Tunneled sleds by running the engine with the front up at least 2'. Park it up a snowbank and run with cap off and add coolant when needed. Just check that the left exchanger is hot when finished.

Diddo to the above.....and I also watch the level on the 1st ride after a bleed. I always seem to be able to burp a little air out after a few miles.

I was just thinking of this today as I am putting my custom viper back together today and thought raising the front would be the trick, I am running an AC crossfire rear cooler on it, it is very flat and good size. Thanks a lot.
