Approach angle?

Quick question- If you took a sled with a very steep approach angle, and swapped out skids or installed custom rails with a shallower angle how much acceleration and top speed would you gain? Is it worth messing with? Or just strap it down and call it good?
 
You can do alot of diffrent things.Yes it makes a big change in how fast your sled go,s if your looking too do some speed run,s.Don,t do heavy trail riding like this thow.Try too get the track flat on the ice as much as you can from front too back and you will find your track will roll better and speeds increase.Good luck.
 
I went from a proaction with a .75 track to a first gen ADBoivin Expert (the experts are known to be VERY good at rolling resistance)and a 1.25 track. I didn't notice a change in top end.

so I'd say 5-10 mph range.

strap it down, or move it back would have similar results I'd think.
