Viper Gearing - ??

I am looking in my technical maunual at the gearing tables. My stock Viper had 22/38 gearing for a ratio of 1.73. I sold off all that heavy stuff and now have all SX gearing. What effect would putting in a 23/40 gearing at 1.74 do to my engine/rpm/etc.

you probably won't notice any difference whatsoever, it is too close to the same ratio.

Kinda though tthat, but regardless of ratio, it must change something adding teeth to the (2) to big bottom and adding (1) to the small top. Maybe I am all wet here.
