Do your jets wear out or get bigger with age? How many miles would it take for them to get bigger? Just wondering.
The only "Jets" or carb components that could actually wear would be those that are exposed to metal to metal contact with vibration and/or movement so that would only involve needles + needle jets and float needles + seats.
I have never seen a sled carb with enough miles on it to actually wear these components any measureable amount.
In my experience, I have only seen this kind of wear on a high mileage 4 stroke four wheeler, 4 stroke motorcycles or the secondary needles on Quadrajet 4 barrels from high mileage cars.

Only if you clean them with a wire and enlarge them in the process.

yes they do..not so noticable in sleds ..so much going on...
The slide can wear so much as to require1 more mj..size.
The newer TMXx are good for while.
For the average guy..it would be pretty hard to tell...trail riding..no big deal...
