i used to have a 2000 srx 700 pretty much completely stock engine wise.. and i used to do it like nothing. was really easy got a few videos .. haha. check out my avatar.. 
i had a 1 1\4 camoplaste with 96 studs. that's it that's all with handle risers n stuff but never touched the engine. exept a can.

if my sled was closer to stock i would be more of a help i think. but this is what i did
clutch the sled re gear it get a better track and put a M10 under it lol it will look a lil something like this
