Thinking about a small project.

OK, I got an idea into my head last week, that I don't know if it would look dumb, or down right sweet.

I want to do some changes to the look of my '02 Viper. I was looking at the vinyl carbon fiber that is offered by 3M. I have seen it in person, and it looks really good, and even has the "ridges" in it like carbon fiber would. I have been thinking of what my Viper would look like if I did a complete hood wrap with the stuff. I would probably also then get the Viper decals redone in black/grey for the hood. My only issue then would I would need a black/grey viper seat to replace the blue one and grey ski loops.....


Any thoughts or has anybody seen this stuff used on a hood yet??

I have used that same technique before, and seen people who have done it. My issue with it is that it always seems to look "cloudy" when you get up close. It also is just flat, has no ridges to it. The 3M product acctually has ridges to it to give it more of a carbon fibre "feel", and seems like a great product...... now just have to decide if I want to spend the money on something I may not like...
