air fuel ratio

well, the technically right ratio is 14-15:1,this however doesnt always work best in the field under differnt conditions. Alot of times the area of 12:1 is more maximum power output ratio.

At the risk of sounding like I know what I'm talking about, 14.7:1 is stoichiometric, but isn't often practicle in the real world and richer mixtures are required at different throttle angles to avoid driveability issues (i.e. tip-in hesitations).

This is what I know about four strokes based on my short stint in calibration and I/C-101 but can't see why 2 strokes would be any different.

As you can see, I waited for Don to pipe in before replying just to avoid saying something stupid, but now I look like a cling-on.

;)! thnx don i was not sure if 12.5 :1 was ok ......now i know in what range to play .............o2 are not good in 2 stroke but i'm sure they can help to set up it right
