my sled engages hard

hey guys i have a 2000 yamaha vmax 500 and i replaced my weights in the primary clutch because they had flat marks worn into them any ideas? still engages hard i posted it on here because i know the srx forume is hit much harder then the rest

TAKE THIS CLUTCH TOTALLY APART AND CHECK BUSHING. CLUTCH COULD BE HANGING UP OR STICKING. ALSO INSPECT YOUR SPRING, MIGHT BE BROKE. THESE CLUTCHES ARE VERY EASY TO PULL MAINTENCE ON. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Remove the primary cap & the primary spring. The outer shive should move freely back & forth.
