2005 RS Vector ??

OK guys, this a pricing question... My brother-in-law wants to sell his 2005 RS Vector, it's stock, well maintained, only 1900 miles. He's the original owner. No, I'm not the one buying it... He feels like he doesn't ride enough to keep it, he asked me how much I thought it was worth. I think book is $3750.

That would be a very reasonable price,.... My brother bought a new one 2 years ago for $5,500....... they can run a long time...........

All depends on the time of year, location, the current market and of course finding the right buyer. Book value doesn't take time of year or current market into consideration. I look at used sled prices all the time here in Michigan, and you would have to be real lucky to get book price here in Michigan right now. Wait until late fall early winter, and you can likely get near book value once a week. I don't know what the situation is like in Minneapolis right now. Those are very nice sleds, but they are not as much in demand now that newer sleds are dropping into the sub $5K range. At least here in Michigan.
