Thinking about selling my 99 Srx, it has 800 miles on it, new simmons skis and mbrp can on it, ripsaw track and viper suspension. What do you guys think a good price to put on it? Motor is completely stock, clutches also stock.

a sled with those low miles i would not sell for less than 3000.00 and if u are in no rush 2 sell then u may sit on that for a while but some one will pay u for the low miles and condition, u got 600 dollars on the skis and can , so its worth all that. AL

I gave $950 for a very nice '98 srx600 with 7500+ miles on it. Yes High Milage, but the price was right. This will be an oval racer this winter

12 year old sled with 800 miles,,, I'd be afraid of dry rot....................

Used sled prices in Michigan are about as low as I have seen them relative to new sled prices. Later in the year the prices should go up. $2K in Michigan right now would be a good price. You might get $3K later in the year.

$3000 is about what I was hoping for, with the skis, etc. I don't need to sell so probably will sit on it till the snow flys. Thanks for the input, didn't want to post it on here and get a bunch of negative feedback about my price. :letitsnow

I know Michigan is probably different for prices but at $3000 you will sit on it for the next few winters if it were in my area. You can buy SRX700's all day long for between $1500 and $2000 around here with mileage around 1500 miles to 4000 miles on the machines. As for your options that you have added they only take value away from the sled in my area as nobody is buying them to trail ride anymore they are pretty much only being bought to race or collect

What he said. I paid $1500 for my 99 4 or 5 years ago. Granted it was a 600, but it was clean and had reasonable miles. I've made it into what I want now, with a 144, holz rear skid, and 780 motor, but I'd be lucky to get $1200 for it whole. Sadly it's worth way more in pieces than whole now.

Quick question, did you get a 1.25" ripsaw installed on that, or did you find a 1" ripsaw?

If it's the 1.25", what did you have to do to make it work? Different drivers? Or just burn off that last .05" on the tunnel?

Thanks.

With your luck you might find somebody to give you a couple srx's for that 85 dollars, just cuz they don't want them anymore. then you'd have like 25 of them.

Im running 1.25 ripsaw...You can either eliminate tunnel protectors...if you dont plan to stud. Or just cut a little bit of the track out where its gonna hit the protectors. Thats what i did and it worked great. No wear and tear on the protectors.
