where can i find online? a replacement key blank for a 99 yamaha VMAX 700. would like to have a spare. thanks.
dont know about online, but my local locksmith seems to have the correct blanks in stock and can cut to match.

thats my prob. no one around here has anything.. Yamaha wants to sell the whole ignition switch with keys.
so, do you have a key for your sled and want an extra spare, or are you totally lacking a key for your sled?

just would like a spare. only have the 1.
if your local locksmith doesnt have a blank, on your existing key should be a stamped/engraved number. pm me this info and i will check with my locksmith and see if he can match. if so, i would have him cut one and send it to you. not to worry, i am across the country from you.

i bought one at the local yamaha boat dealer ..just needed the number on the key ...

well found a ACE hardware store. that had a key blank. said YAMAHA YH38 works perfect!! THanks again snowdad for the offer! much appreciated!!!
