Buffer wheel for cleaning powervalves?

You know what I'm thinking of, no matter "how strong" of a solvent you use, you can't get that last bit of burnt dirt off the powervalves. I think I read here somewhere that someone uses a buffer wheel to finish off the cleaning? Can someone show me pics of that and tell me where I can get such a wheel?

you got to lighten up....and stop asking questions THAT make us wanna answer(LOL).Clean them the best you can and slide them back in and ride,or buy new ones every 1000 miles.
 
This is what I use. I got this from my buddy that owns an autobody shop. I use a cordless drill and some combustion chamber cleaner. It makes the powervalves shiny new :bling:

I'd like to buy one of those. Where can I get it? What is it called / part#?

A new clean safety razor blade (I buy 'em by the 100) works for me.

I don't want to be "that guy" but it's pretty obvious from the writing on it that it's a 3m Roloc disk. :jump:

They are called 3m Roloc bristle disks. In the US you can get them at many auto paint supply stores like Finish Master, or Sherwin Williams.

You can also get them at a lot of welding supply stores. I buy mine from my airgas rep.

I think the green is a 50grit. You can get an 80 or 120 also that are yellow or white.

Go to www.3m.com and select your region to find a dealer in your area.
 
Don't worry, you won't be "that guy" quite yet. To be "that guy" you would have to come up with a stupid joke as well, then you're closing in on that. I'm not in the US, so that might be a challenge. I'm sure I'll find it here too somewhere, if not I'll just get someone to buy it for me and send it to me.
